Take a look at our blog where we dive deeper into the various benefits of TumiBee ingredients.

How do I make TumiBee?

You can make TumiBee several ways, there is no exact way! :)

It's up to your taste and the reason you are drinking it.  Because it is made from real food ingredients, 1 TBSP of the paste is already perfectly balanced for bioefficacy.

  • As a tonic, mix 1 TBSP of TumiBee into 8oz of warm (not boiling) water.
  • As a golden latte, mix 1 TBSP of TumiBee into warm (not boiling) nut milk

Our personal preference is to put in a heaping TBSP of the mixture (so about 1 TBSP + 1 TSP) and melting the paste with a half cup of warm water first,  and then topping it off with a nut milk. Yum!

How often can I drink TumiBee?

Drink TumiBee once a day as a turmeric and superherb supplement.

For times when you need an extra immunity boost, drink two to three times a day. *Start off slowly in the beginning if you are not used to turmeric.

When should I drink TumiBee as a Tonic?

If you have congestion from mucous (coughs, colds, allergies), drink it as a tonic for best results, as milk and some nut milks (coconut) could produce more mucous.

Any other time, drink TumiBee as a Golden Latte or however you enjoy consuming it (smoothies, yogurt, coffee, etc).

Why Warm Water/Nut Milk?

One of the star ingredients in TumiBee is raw unfiltered honey, which has numerous health benefits, including intact enzymes, amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

However, at high temperatures, the enzymes become inactive.  We recommend heating your water or nut milk till it is warm, but not boiling.

What is the TumiBee Gratitude Stir (and what do I do with the leftover grain)?

Because TumiBee is a real food supplement, it will naturally have a grain at the bottom of the cup.  We decided against using any fillers or filters, so that you get all the benefits of the ingredients in the product.

To make sure you get all the incredible goodness from TumiBee, do the TumiBee Gratitude Stir! As you sip and enjoy your drink, occasionally stir your drink, and with each stir, say what you are grateful for--giving your mind, body & soul a few moments to enjoy the present.

You can also add more water/or nut milk at the end and gulp it down--or mix it with a little honey and enjoy.

Do I need to refrigerate TumiBee?

If you are drinking daily, then no.  TumiBee is shelf stable until the expiration date.  However, if you are drinking it occasionally, then it's best to put in the refrigerator to keep it fresh longer.  It will harden, so you will need to let it sit out for a bit or--use those muscles and scoop some out!

INGREDIENTS & TERMS

How do you pronounce TumiBee?

Too-me-bee.  The name is a combination of the pronunciation for turmeric and the symbol of a bee for honey.  TumiBee!

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a holistic medicinal practice from India that originated over 5000 years ago.  Translated in Sanskrit as "Knowledge of Life," Ayurvedic medicine incorporates the use of herbs, whole food and functional body practices such as yoga and massage, to help balance mind, body and soul both internally and externally.  It is when the body is in balance, that the body can heal at its best.

What is Turmeric?

Turmeric is a root plant from the ginger family, and is widely known for its ability to reduce inflammation and build immunity in the body, due to the potent antioxidant, curcumin.

However, the benefits are turmeric doesn't stop there, it has been shown through clinical trials to help with Cancer, Alzheimer's and Arthritis.  Additionally, turmeric has been shown to help with Depression, and to provide anti-aging benefits--especially those with chronic diseases.

What is Tulsi?

Considered the "Queen of Herbs" and considered a holy plant in India, you will find this plant in many Indian homes.  Tulsi is a powerhouse of a superfood and adaptogenic herb (an herb that helps the body adapt to stress and increase energy over time) that helps with upper respiratory functions.  It is also an anti-inflammatory and helps to reduce stress & anxiety.

It also is a great natural source of Zinc!

What is Ghee & why do you only use Organic Grassfed Ghee?

Used in Ayurvedic medicine to help heal the body, ghee is butter that is heated until the fat solids that contain casein and other inflammatory compounds are separated--leaving a tasty nutty and golden oil that is safe to eat for those that are lactose intolerant.

Turmeric and ghee work together beautifully.  While turmeric helps to reduce inflammation, ghee works as a salve that repair and heal cells.  It is especially beneficial for tears in the lining of digestive walls.  Additionally, your brain loves this fat as it has natural compounds that help with synapse functioning.

Finally, we only use organic grassfed ghee, as grass is the only way to get CLA (Conjugated linoleic acid) from cow's milk. CLA has been known to help with weight loss and retain lean muscle mass.  Additionally, grassfed ghee has higher amounts of omegas and vitamins A, D, E & K

What is Pink Himalayan Salt and how is it different from table salt?

Pink Himalayan salt comes from salt beds found in the Himalayan mountains in India.  These salt beds were formed from unpolluted oceans from over 800 million years ago.  These salt beds remain in the mountains and must be hand mined, leaving them in their purest and unprocessed form. The pink color comes from the 84 trace minerals found in the salt, including potassium, manganese, iron and zinc.

Regular salt is evaporated from present oceans that tend to be polluted, and must be heated & filtered to reduce impurities (while removing minerals)--all while adding unnatural anti-caking agents to reduce clumping.

What is Raw Unfiltered Honey & how is it's different from regular honey?

Raw unfiltered honey is honey in it's purest, simplest form.  It is poured directly out of the honeycombs over a filter (mesh, nylon cloths), and then bottled.  It is not pasteurized, leaving intact its natural enzymes, antioxidants, 22 amino acids, 31 trace minerals, vitamins and bee pollen.  Combined, this is a masterful liquid of true golden goodness!

Regular honey is heated and pasteurized, which kills enzymes, breaking down the amino acids, vitamins while filtering out beneficial ingredients like bee pollen. You are essentially left with an empty sugar liquid.
